HEY HEY HEY! We’re not dead, honest. Here’s some proof, courtesy of our very own Chief Wigan.
Special Agent Set
Punk rock band from Bolton, UK.

These acoustic songs we recorded have been knocking about for a while but are still up for streaming and free download (along with our album) on Bandcamp if you’ve not heard them!
Thanks everyone who came down to our gig at The Tudor on Friday and sorry all of our stuff broke. Unfortunately, as my electric Green Lantern guitar is now smashed, the band’s output will now be me doing acoustic covers of Saves The Day songs in my bedroom*.
*only partially true
Things have a been a bit quiet of late but we’ve just added a couple of August gigs for you Northern mofos, Wigan on the 12th and Manchester on the 22nd!
MANCHFESTER = Monday
Don’t forget ManchFESTer 1.5 is this Monday at Gullivers. ManchFESTer 1.0 was one of the most awesome shows I went to last year so I’m pretty excited about it. Things kick off at 3pm with Andrew Cream and we’re playing at 4:55. I’m sure that’s a suitable time to start making human pyramids. Many great bands and it’s a bank holiday, it would be rude not to attend!
Kieran made a mix tape of the bands playing too, you can download that here.
A few more gigs added to the gig listings. We’re still looking for gigs anywhere so give us a shout if you want us to play.
Our next show coming up is Dogstock this Saturday (we’re playing at 5:30). Plenty of awesome bands playing the outdoor stage over the course of the weekend. Come down and check it out.
Also, don’t forget that our album is available for download on http://specialagentset.bandcamp.com/album/year-one and now for streaming on Spotify.
Punknews.org Review of Year One
Punknews reviewed our album and seemed to like it! We’re pretty excited about this. Does this mean that we’re an “Orgcore” band now? I hope so because the idea of Nige growing a beard is pretty hilarious. Check it out after the jump.
We’ve added a couple of dates to our upcoming gigs section, please check ‘em out!
Year One - Pay wot yer want
Face front true believers, for a limited time (probably forever) our album Year One is up for download for whatever you want, even £0. If you could give it a listen/tell your friends that would be awesome. It’s still available on CD too, if you want a CD give us a shout or grab one at a show (which we’re currently booking).
Much love
SAS
